"I ask all trade unionists, especially fellow GMB members,  in Croydon North to get behind Val as the best candidate  for this important by election.  

Val has actively supported the London Living wage campaign  and made sure that all cleaning staff in contracted out services  from the Fire Brigade received it when she was in charge.  

Val has shown that she will fight for public sector services and defend the low paid in our City, she delivers real support and action, not just words"
